We’ve made changes to the way we work to ensure the safety of our workforce and communities during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Our health and safety strategy focuses on:

  • Personal and workplace hygiene
  • Increased cleaning regimes
  • Staff adhering to social distancing requirements.

If someone in our workforce becomes ill with COVID-19-related symptoms, or has suspected exposure, we have processes in place for medical attention, isolation and notification of health authorities.

Mattress collections:

There are currently no general public drop offs at Soft Landing sites – we have moved to online bookings and collections only.

Protective equipment:

Like all businesses in Australia, we are facing challenges with sourcing PPE via our traditional supply chains. We are pursuing different avenues to boost supplies of protective equipment to protect from air-bound particulates and droplets, and we have introduced additional cleaning routines and dust-suppression activities into our factories.

We’ve also done extensive business continuity planning to ensure our work can continue during the pandemic.

We’re following the latest advice and guidelines from the Australian Government Department of Health. Within those guidelines, and with the health and safety measures we have in place, we are committed to maintaining an uninterrupted service for our customers.
